Personality: Acedia is like a hollowed out soul who wishes to be left alone. Having never been really loved in life has caused her to act in despair at almost all times. She trust no one that could neglect her only the few people who were somewhat kind to her are the few she feels slightly happy.

Family: The only family she has left is her 18 year old brother Nicholas Inkblot.
History: Valerie was born into a farming family who’s main product was corn. It was a life of simplicity for the parents, but for Valerie it was a life of neglect. She wasn’t loved as she was forced to help her mother and father harvest the corn every year. When her brother became apart of the family it seemed almost as if Valerie didn’t even exist. The family became separated one year when the mother died and the father was forced to go into a nut house for insanity. The farm was now in the hand of Nicholas who helped keep the family income together, but Valerie had also gotten sick just like her mother. At the age of 23 she died of illness and surprisingly her brother actually became very upset that she died.

After her death he was keen into the study of alchemy and one night he attempted to revive his sister which unfortunately caused him to not only lose his arms and legs, but was very unsuccessful in reviving his sister. The creature that laid in front of him was just a blob of blood that screamed at him in terror and pain. Nicholas couldn’t stand the sight and sound of the creature and was forced to kill it. He was left without his limps and was forced to get auto-mail to have limps which was a very expensive and painful process. The money the family had earned from their corn sales was used just to keep him from living a life in a wheelchair. He went through the process and once again lived his life farming his families lands, but he had a hard time still getting used to the auto-mail. He lived a life of sadness and regret that he was really the only one in his family left.

The body of Valerie had of course been reborn into a soulless form know as the humunculis Acedia. Her mind’s memories were still intact and her personality from when she was alive with a soul was still dominant as a homunculi, but a bit more extreme. She was quiet and in a way lifeless, but her body gave off an air of confidence. This was true when she was around her fellow homunculi or when going about a mission by them. She was always seen without a top and in short shorts. Her tattoos giving off the dominance of her clothing with her clawed hand that gave off an air of strength. Her body was the exact opposite of her personality, but that is what pleased her as she constantly used in is disguises for her comrades.

RP Sample: It was a starry night in central and in a dark alley sat in the shadows was the homunculi Acedia. She was in one of her moods as she awaited the arrival of one of her comrades. The silence in the night was disturbing as the only thing that seemed to make a sound was the rare sound of a solider walking around the city on patrol. The steps echoed in the silence and as each one reached Acedia’s ears she couldn’t help, but shed a tear from her white eyes. It was getting late and if her companion didn’t reach her in time the mission would be called a fail and they would be forced to re-try another mission. The tears that fell from her eyes started to make a puddle below her which seemed to grow as the seconds drew on. She was a complete mess that is until she saw a figure down the end of the ally that could have been her comrade.

Acedia looke dup at the figure staring and watching the figure making sure if it was her comrade. The figure seem to not be able to see Acedia as it walked off from the entrance which told Acedia they were not her comrade. She was now forced to go back to her crying and she cried for another five minutes before her comrade arrived. It was most likely envy as she didn’t recognize them at first just barely also being able to see them in shadows. Her comrade didn’t talk as they handed her the instructions for her mission and then left her to be alone to read. Acedia cleaned her eyes with her left hand and read the envelope that contained her mission which showed a picture of a man in blue alchemist clothing. Her mission was to assassinate the man and use his body to help make some red water for their food supply. It was going to be a simple task, but it would require her full attention.
