Personality:
He is somewhat distant because of his troubled life up till now, he is serious about his job and will often comment about how the government need his alchemy skills, often keeps to himself and is shy and nervous when speaking to people more so he will be blushing when talking to women. When people are talking to him he seems depressed, he is cautious, he is willing to have some fun and he will need some convincing, but it is possible. He seeks the philosophers Stone for the sole reason to cure he eye sight and to stop him from going completely blind. His eyes bleed in his sleep due to the use of his illusion alchemy so he needs a new pillow everyday. He is very determined in his life so then he can prove everyone wrong that he can do it.

Likes: Deserts.
Dislikes: Too much noise, although he can deal with it.
Dark Secret: That he is afraid of the dark and some of his own illusions.
Deepest Fear: His deepest fear is being trapped in his own illusion.


Skills: His illusion alchemy which makes his eyesight worse every time his uses it. He has contacts that have the transmutation circles on them, they make his eyesight perfect again but when he takes them off he can only see 2 feet ahead of him so he wears them constantly, and his contacts only last for 30 days. His fighting style is not impressive he fights like a street fighter.
Weapons: He uses basic alchemy. He also uses a regulation handgun and he has a customized desert eagle.
Transportation: train. Walking when he has to.
Special Item: A photo of his parents that he never got to meet. They died when he was 2 years old.

Family: He had a mother and father but they were killed in a train accident when he was 2 years old he was being looked after by the neighbors at the time when they found out they didn’t want to look after a 2 year old boy, so they sent him to a orphanage. He has no other family that knows about him or he about them.
History:
He was born in resembool and lived there till he was two, after his parents death in an accident evolving a train, his neighbors did not want a baby living with them. So they sent him to an orphanage but after a few months the orphanage was burnt to the ground. After a few years of moving around and the orphanages burning down in the same fashion as he lived there for a few months, Genji starts to believe that he was the cause so he started learning alchemy. He wanted to stop the places he lived from burning down so he would not be blamed so he could live in a nice place. This went on for years and at the last place an orphanage in central.

He went out to play some games, he was 10 at the time and when he returned, the orphanage was on fire and he could hear screams from where he stood, so he rushed inside to try help the people still inside he managed to find some people, as he was leading them out some debris fell, making him fall to the ground floor from the second story. When he hit the ground some more debris fell and impaled through his right shoulder. He was left there he told the others to leave because he had given up on living, because death kept following him so he thought he remembered he had a bit of metal in his pocket and so he wanted to check out his alchemy skills so he made a small saw and he cut himself free, barely.

He was sent to hospital can they could repair his shoulder. He still had the rest of his arm he just could not use it, so the doctor recommended changing it to automail, which he agreed to. After a few years he went to the new rebuilt orphanage which did not burn down so he stays there, then a rich couple that can not have kids comes to the orphanage to find a child to raise as their own and the man sees Genji’s determination and despite his automail he was adopted finally and four more years passed and he decided to become a state alchemist and his field was illusion/mirage alchemy. He had learn in the four years that he could use the moisture in the air, the mist and the heat in the desert to create mirages or illusions, but at the cost of his eyesight so he had special contacts made to give his eyes his sight perfect as it was in the beginning of his life, and to use the alchemy with the transmutation circle on the contacts.


RP Sample:

The Heat from the desert sun, was just about to get to the 17 year old boy, that walked the desert cursing to himself. Oh how the boy hated trains, he lost the two people he needed the most because of a train, and now the one he was riding on broke down. He looked down at the picture in his state alchemist pocket watch, the picture showed the two people he lost and himself as a two year old child. His eyes teared up as he thought about them, his parents the people he never knew. Then the boy heard a sound that was familiar it was the sound of the train that had broken down, now it was moving quicky in his direction. The pillar of smoke from the train towered above into the sky, it reminded him of a burning building, which made the tears already in his eyes roll down his face.

The boy said out loud " oh curd i am dead if i dont get on that train hmm what to do.......oh i know i will jump back on. " he knew it was a stupid idea but he had to try, he started running along the side of the train tracks as the train started bursting past, he knew it was now or never so he got as much strength up and jump hoping to get on the train. He thought he missed but he managed to grab on to something as he climbed through a open window he gave a few people that were on the train already a fright " Who the hell are you jumping in the train like that hey are you lsitening kid " the man in his late 40's yelled and the boy said " Hey keep it down old man geez and be more respectful geez. The name is Genji, Genji Natsume The mirage alchemist " as Genji went back to his seat on the train " geez people these days. "
