The Date (Me and Kiri)

He chuckled. "Of course, Miss Hawkeye."

Kiri blinked and smiled, "Kiri is fine."

He smiled. "I'll call you Kiri if you call me Tobi," He said with a laugh.

Kiri smiled "Fine fair trade I suppose."

Tobi's smiled widened slightly. "After you, Kiri," He said, nodding towards a table.

Kiri took a seat and looked at him, shifting awkwardly, "I've uhh never been somewhere this nice.. before.."

Tobi chuckled. "Well, you're a bit rusty but I must say I'm impressed."

Kiri stuck out her tongue, "Yes well I've never been on a date either!" Which was partially true.. she had lunch a couple times with fellow officers, but it never seemed to be anything romantic.

"Well, then I feel privileged to be here with you," He said, grinning at her.

Kiri grinned "You should" She said in mock-flippanty. "I am quite amazing." She laughed.

He laughed. "I know."

Kiri smiled and laughed "I guess.."

A waitress came along and handed them menus. Tobi smiled and thanked her. "So," he said, turning back to Kiri, "What do you want?"

Kiri shifted awkwardly "Well uhmmm maybe.. no I don't know what are you having?" She asked with a soft smile, trying to disguise the nervousness.

Tobi chuckled. "Dunno, some sort noodles," He said with a shrug.

Kiri pouted "Oh so you're not going to help me out here?"

Tobi chuckled. "What, you need help deciding what to eat? Close your eyes and point to something on the menu. That's more help than I'd be."
