Hito looked around the cobblestone streets. Horses and cars mixing together in traffic. Both were a form of toxic transportation that filled your lungs with smog whereverr you were near it. The city was always trying to choke you, to bring you down to the sewers or to pull you up to the political disasters. They were all sewers, it was just different placement.
He jumped onto a trashcan and parried to the side wall where he pushed off with his nimble feet into the disasterous traffic of mechanical and organic beasts. Hito always loved to look insode the cars and carrages as he bounced upon their roofs to cross the dangerous river of paradox slime. Though no one could argue due to the speed they were being carried away in rush hour.
Hito tapped back to safe ground. His only eye shifting left and right to see what to do next. His hands deep in his pockets, making sure there was no way for anyone to coorilate an act of theivery or crime to him as he walked down the alleys. He never entered an alley that he was sure that he could escape from. So that way the mistake of almost being caught by the police never happened again. He could remember it as if it was hardwired to his young brain.

He was running through the dark, his merchant friends were gone from his side. There was something numbing his brain. Was it the policemen? No, that couldn't be it. He felt this numbing before. He knew what it meant. It was fear, he was afraid.
His ragged dark clothing was soaked with sweat as he whipped to a dark city hallway. It was too dark to see the leaving point. It was so dark, as dark as his home with his friends. His suffering friends. The policemen were right behind him. Catching him, forcing him back into the dark with none of his friends. Alone and cold. With the seasons passing through his fox hair.
He scrabbled at the stone walls trying to find a crevice that he could hide in. The dog shouts were getting closer and the red and white lights mirroring off his glassy eyes like a deer in front of a car. He finally grabbed a chunk of dirt and jumped over the wall, his shirt ripping on the sharp stones. He fell to the ground, unconsious and ridden with exhaustion. Safe exhaustion.

He shook off the memory and walked down the alley, his head facing upwards to greet the beutiful clouds. He wouldn't go back to the darkness if he could help it. Not without the person who helped him realize the outside world. He needed to thank that person.Even if it was to neglect everything else.

Takegami walked through the beautiful streets of South City. Cars and horses filled the streets, and people covered the sidewalks, scrambling about, hoping to get to work on time or arrive home before it was late. Takegami wore his military uniform, which was far diffrent from the Amestrian military uniform, for it was a traditional all black kimono worn by most samurai of a certain clan. He wore a red armband, which had the symbol of a cherry blossom flower, key noted to belong to the Oda Family or many others in Japan. His gentle, azure eyes rested on the sidewalk, as he was picking out those who would be a delicious feast for dinner.

He placed his headphones in his ear, listening to music from his iPhone. He sighed slightly, wishing that rush hour would end, however, his boredom was easily relieved as he noticed a young boy leap into the traffic, his agility greater than the average man. Takegami simply smirked, deciding that this character would be an interesting subject to study untill nightfall. He simply walked towards the streets of the dangerously, fast paced traffic, cars and horses zooming by him. He leapt into the air, however, he did not come down, he just stood in air, almost as if he did it everday... which he did. He walked across the air towards the other side of the street and walked at a normal pace, following the boy. His long, flowing, black hair lifted slightly in the wind, and he could only smile, as the music put him at ease.

He walked through the air a little longer, people staring up at him as if he was some sort of god, their faces in unbelief and awe. His katana, both of which were on his left hip, made a little, 'Klink!' sound with each step he took. He bore his usual calm smile which soon transformed to a deadly grin. He could feel his lust for blood taking over, but for the sake of avoiding chaos, he refrained from lashing out. He wanted to kill everyone on the street, but he would wait to have his fun, besides, human flesh and blood tasted better under moonlight. He eyed the boy who had jumped through traffic carefully, hating the scent of car fumes and horse manuare ruin his sense of smell. He wondered why people didn't just walk or run, it was alot better than polluting the air and sickening their own family members with their disgusting waste of nonrenewable resources and materials. He sighed and noticed a police car come racing by, speeding at high speeds, yet chasing noone. Maybe a fight had broke off near the slums... 'Hmph, who cares... i'm more interested in this child... he'd make a fine meal...'

Hito walked down the alley, ignoring the stench of trash and homeless tents on the side of the walls. They wern't bothering him so why should he bother them? Plus he needed to find a paying job before the next merchant movement. He went a little farther until he saw a small depression in the stones on his left side. In order to find the major shops he would need to have a higher altitude in which to find them. He took one step back and jumped forward, using his bandaged toes to dig into the hole for support. He then lifted the rest of his body using his nimble hands the next streach. He soon reached the top and began running on the six in wide wall. The South city was filled with working-class people. It would be no problem to find a job, though with his luck that chance would have to be cut in half.

As a small wind passed he caught the miniscule smell of cinimon and sweet bread. A bakery would be nice to work at and if he did a good enough job he could get a meal with his pay. He changed directions suddenly torwards the smell, barricaded by roofs and power cords. No need. He grabbed onto one of the cords and swung himself accross a large outpost and landed on a green metal roof. Copper, probrably rusted by the winter rains. His hair stood on end as he heard a small clink. He continued to move normally just in case, though looked around a bit too suspiciously. After a while in not hearing anymore of that particular sound, he concentrated on that smell agian.

Hito reached up to the third floor by climbing the metal fence on the roof and jumping accross the empty space to the higher building. His toes making small sparks as he landed. Sending shooting pain signals to his brain. He paused and raised one of the more damaged feet for a few seconds and waited for it to dull. After that, he jumped off the building and landed straight into a wooden telephone pole. He clutched onto it and slid down gently, reaching the side of the bakery. It was soon time to get his job, if he could manage that is.

As he walked in, he was temporarily paralized at the beutiful smell of goodies. His pointed irises beaming at the delicious masterpeices. He walked up to the owner and asked if he could work there for 3 days, not mentioning that he was with the merchant train. In his short experience, he realized that everyone knew where the merchant train was, has been, or going to destinations just as they knew what time it was.

Takegami watched the boy closely, and once he leapt into the air onto the buildings, he followed in hot pursuit. He wasn't going to lose this child so easily. He kept his senses open, trying to focus his scent on the boy's smell, but that was harder to do, thanks to the stench of trash and old people flying about. He ran down onto a roof and began leaping from one to another, doing acrobatic flips as he did so to keep himself entertained. He placed his hand onto the ground before him and pushed up with a spring, landing beneath a crowd of roofs and power cords. He landed behind a building, making sure to stay hidden as the boy eyed the area suspiciously.

He followed behind him from the shadows, leaping onto window and walls silently, making sure to jump into an alleyway every now and then. His katana made a loud clang noise when he made far jumps, but he did not care, for that atleast would make the child look in opposite ways and speed up. The faster the child moved, the more his brain would tell him to worry and become filled with fear. This would throw his senses off, giving Takegami just enough ability to continue following him without being seen. When the boy stopped before a bakery filled with the smell of cinnamon and sweet bread, he could only smile. It seemed he could use this as a chance to act things out and find out as much as he could on the boy. His sandals made a silent, 'Clap!' sound as he stopped behind him. He quickly jumped into a shadow covered alleyway, and watched from afar, keeping his azure eyes slendered so they weren't as visible.

Takegami calmly thought for a second before smnirking devilishly. He knew his feminine looks would give him an advantage at some point, and snuck up the wall, just by running up it, and sneaked into a house through the window. He searched through the closet and drawer, grabbing a kimono and a sash along with a few hair products. The owner of the home walked in, but was killed almost immediatly, not being able to make a sound. Takegami's blade went through her neck within seconds, and she hit the ground with a, 'thump!' Takegami slowly sheathed his blade and dressed himself in the female kimono, holding a fan in his hand. Luckily for him, today was a celebration in Aerugo, the celebration of the first day of Spring. He calmly walked out of the door fanning himself, watching the two closely.

Hito was talking to the shop owner. As soon as the man saw how enchanted he was in bakery, the owner set him to work right away. Hito took off his black coat and hung it on the low hanger. He was wearing a bleached burlap shirt underneath with a small chain of a necklace. Under his shirt there was a tiny lump and was probrably connected to the chain. Though no one cared, and he didn't care to share. He was slimply an extra hand.

Hito ran to an fro from the bakery, giving special orders to people who couldn't travel, getting ingredients from the joint-stock owner down the street and pulling eggs out from under the chickens. The chickens didn't like him much and thrashed whenever he went near them, making the eggs difficult to get without hurting a bird. As he did he heard a loud 'clap!' on the cobblestone. Making him turn around automatically, his eyes turning slightly yellow with suspicion. Was it the policemen coming to take him back? How would they get him in such a unsuspecting place? Hito turned slowly back to his work and hurried to give the owner the eggs.

As lunchtime drew near, he made sure that the owner caught him once or twice staring at the sourdough breads and cressants. Unlike many children, he never had a taste for sweet things. Only the smell. Soon the owner gave him his break and lunch. It was sourdough bread with cheese and raw Daikon radish. His favorite vegetable. He climbed up the wooden bakery wall, peeling off his bandages to reveal blackened claws. Hoping not to catch anyones attention, he munched and crunched on the bakery roof. Glad that his high intellect could get him a suitable meal for his forever growling stomach.

Takegami walked into the bakery, and smiled at the store owner. His feminine looks threw the man's guard down, and without hesitation, Takegami made his move. He ordered a few bakery items, and some bread, and asked to have it delivered to the house he had taken from the woman. He sighed slightly and walked out of the bakery in a feminine style. He went into the bright sunshine filled sky, and looked up to see a child enjoying lunch on the roof. He smiled gently, and waved lightly, looking like an exact replica of a female. His voice was high and carried a feminine tone to it, for he had plenty of experience, all thanks to Reita of course.

"Hello there!"

He called up to the boy and turned around, walking off slowly. He entered the home and plopped down on his chair, watching some television. He grabbed himself a bottle of red wine and helped himself to some rice. He ate and drink his meal before the television, watching funny japanese gameshows. He then looked at the clock, wondering when they'd send the boy on the delivery to the house. He simply shrugged, figuring he'd get his real meal sooner or later. He pulled his swords out and made sure they were clean before hiding them beneath the couch.

He opened a pack of cigarrettes, and pulled one out, placing it in his mouth. He looked around for a lighter, and grabbed one off of the fireplace. He lit the cigarrette and rested on the couch once more. He looked out the window, noticing the sunshine was slowly fading away. Soon night would strike the hour, and he would be able to go out and feast. He leaned back and blew a puff of smoke into the air. It was almost time for that delivery. He'd get sweets and a dinner all in one. He tossed the lighter on the table, plopping his feet up behind it, and sighed lightly.

He was munching on his bread as he saw a lady look up and smile at him. Saying hello. He nodded back, quite puzzled at the woman's actions. No one usually paid attention to him because he didn't pay attention to them. It was a new thing, maybe he would work at this shop longer than he expected to gain new friends. He sighed as he looked sadly at the few crumbs of bread. He tossed them on the roof for the birds to eat and he crawled down the drain pipe with his claws. The back of the shop would soon have several claw marks. He rewrapped his limbs and went back to work.

He was glad that he was given an errand to fetch some white flour, he wondered why such an expensive flour was used. As he asked, the owner turned away and mumbled something about 'easy eyes'. He shrugged and ran the errand. An hour after that, he was made to give the new sweet bread to the lady next door. This would be the last stop and eh would have to look for a place to sleep.

He knocked on the door, his grey eye looking around the place. It was a second story building with four windows on the front, two on each floor and two on each side of every floor. There was a porch light that was broken and it lead out to the now deserted street. The street lamps giving it a homely look. "hello? Your bread is here." His childish voice penetrated through the pine door.

Takegami heard the knocking of the door and stood up slowly. He put the cigarrette out and rushed to the bathroom, brushing his teeth. He finally rinsed and finished, running down the steps. He fixed himself up and walked to the door calmly. He opened the door with a bright, white, pearly smile on his face, and nodded slightly. He motioned for the child to come in, as he grabbed a few of the bags. Takegami was rather short in stature, standing at only 5 foot 7, making him look even more like a female. He placed the bread on the table and started searching for his, or should he say the woman's, purse.

He looked everywhere through the home, and finally found it in the kitchen. He walked out of the kitchen, the purse in his left hand. He sighed slightly and smiled warmly, pulling out a few dollars. He handed it to the boy, and smiled warmly. He blushed slightly, and giggled, covering his mouth with his hand femininely.

"Aren't you the cute one? Would you like to stay for dinner? I'm sure your pretty new to the city, or else i would have noticed you long ago."

He giggled once more and placed a few bags in the kitchen. He began pulling out items that needed to be cooked or put up. He looked back at the boy, still smiling with his cheeks carrying a light tint of red. He winked and started putting up the groceries once more. Hopefully the child would stay for dinner, he always enjoyed his food being full and sexy at the same time. He grabbed a cup of tea and sipped it lightly before starting at the groceries again.

He was on the porch for a long while as he listened to the buming and running around in the house. For some reason, he was quite suspicious of the place. Though it couldn't be that bad. When the door was opened, his grey eye flashed yellow with suprise. It was the happy lady that had waved at him during lunch. Though she wore quite a bit of makeup and a weird dress, she was okay. He reminded her of the gypsies on the caravan that used to travel with the merchants in the summertime.

Hito walked inside and took the money from the lady, thanked her and bowed. When he looked up she commented on his face. He knew that there was children that attracted adults, but no one ever told him about his apearance. Mostly just about his patch in which he quickly averted the questions. the lady worked fast. She asked him to dinner but didn't wait for a reply. He simply shrugged and walked into the house, sitting on the wooden floorbaords hoping he didn't make a mes with his dirty bandages.

He watched the lady make dinner, her hair up in a curious way. Reminding himself of his own hair, he wished he could get some black wildberries to dye his white roots black. He continued to watch, something just wasn't right. Mostly no one ever looked at him like that, especially since he was of low rank in the social society. Why would she invite a child in for dinner? why would she order bread if she was so entergetic and right next to the shop?why didn't she ask his name? why would she wear such expensive clothing if she was just going to stay in? And why didn't he want to run?

Hito looked at the grains on the floorboards and streached. Too many questions, though just like the alleyways he could pinpoint a good public place just two blocks from here and there were exactly ten escape routes on the first floor alone. He was armed and had a good enough speed to get away from this lady with that weird crippling dress on. As soon as he smelled the food though, all thoughts of escape halted from his mind.

Takegami began preparing dinner and fixed him a glass of tea. He wore an expensive kimono, however, he would simply play it off, claiming to have a date over dinner. He sighed and brought the child a glass of warm tea before rushing back into the kitchen and placing the various foods in nthe oven, on the stove, in the microwave, or in the refrigarator. When all was still cooking, or cooling, he walked into the room with the child and sat down across from him, in a ladylike manor of course. He sighed and handed the remote to the child.

"Do you have a name?"

He smiled slightly, yet warmly, and sat properly in the chair. He too drank from his glass of tea, sipping it lightly and placing it down lightly. He then grabbed his pack of cigarrettes and lighter and placed them on the fireplace. He would have to find some way to brush the exsistence of them off somehow, but he'd worry about that later. He looked at all the bandages, pretending to worry and seem to care. He leaned in slightly, his high, feminine voice carrying a slight Japanese accent to it.

"Oh my, what happened? My father is a doctor, so i know alot about wounds, i could probably help fix them up properly."

He blushed lightly, looking down at the ground as if he had just admitted to liking the boy or something. He was a truly good actor, but of course, like any actor, it was all just an act. He sighed and rubbed his legs nervously, trying to seem as if he was shy or timid. Sure, he made his personality seem to come on strong, but he needed to seem conservative, it always kept the prey close, no matter the sex. He looked at the television, and remembered he handed the remote to the child. He quickly got up and grabbed some of the baked bread, and placed it on the table.

"Dinner shall be ready shortly, you can have some of this and watch a little television untill it's done."

He took the tea quietly and drank it with both hands. His dirty bandages smudging the cup. He liked the strong taste of it. Hito had tried this before, maybe it was the green tea stuff. the green swirls in it made it look calming and bubbly, even though it was simply a reaction from part of the liquid being removed.

The lady had asked his name. He thought for a while and sighed. No one usually looked at him the same when he replied. Oh well, life would go on. He looked up with his eye and mumbled with a straight face. " My name is Hitogoroshi Netsuretsu." He looked quickly down so he couldn't see the lady's reaction. Some people who looked like her said it meant 'passionate murderer'. He continued to drink the tea.

As the lady went quickly forward, he jumped back several paces, clutched one of his bandaged hands. " No thankyou!! um... i'm fine. I'm not hurt, it's just to hide stuff..." that was half true. He hid one of his hunting knives in one of the folds of bandages. He didn't want the lady thinking bad of him. to get the conversation going, he mumbled. " so...uh...what's your name? and what is a television?"

While living in a dungeon, he never heard of a TV nor a remote. Things like that simply didn't exist in his mind, and was fine without it. Though he was curious, but nervous. The lady was nice, let him into her house for dinner, asked if she could treat his wounds and gave him a black thing with colorful dots on it, along with green tea.

Takegami simply smiled as he mentioned his name. He was used to being around psychos, and even people with psycho names. He simply chuckled lightly when he looked down, for his name, or the name he made up for this person he was pretending to be, was far worse. He sighed at the mention of his name, pretending to be as discouraged as he was. He sipped his tea lightly, and spoke, his voice gentle and feminine, yet like that of a faint whisper.

"Chimamire Jisatsu."

He quickly took another sip, hiding his face. His name translated into 'Bloody, or Bloodstained, Suicide'. He shook lightly and awaited the sound of a scream or for him to jump back. Suddenly, he did as expected. He jumped up and took several steps backwards, however, it was for completly diffrent reasons. He mentioned he was hiding something in his bandages, and simply nodded slightly. He simply stood up and walked intot he kitchen and checked on dinner.

He touched the stove and let out a small shriek, his finger red from touching a hot stove like an idiot. He sighed and blew it, running it under warm water and blowing it again. It still hurt, and he let this be known by waving it wildly. He made a tear fall from his eye, and looked over at Hitogoroshi. He wondered what the boy would do. Would he laugh? Help him? Or just sit there with a stupid look on his face?

He listened to the name, though he didn't know what it meant. This place was making him more and more uncomfortable, the delicous food making him slightly gittery instead of happy now. Why was it that he had to always be in bad situations? His yellow eye traced where Chima was walking. to the kitchen.

He slowly followed her and then noticed that she was hurt. The pink skin made him feel slightly aback. He expected to see blood. Oh well, life goes on. He noticed that she had it handled. He sighed, it looked like he would be making dinner. again, life goes on.

Hito walked to the microwave and pulled open the door when the numbers went to the little circle and pulled it out, his bandages covering his skin. Making it like a mitten. " It looks like you cant use that hand for a while, I'll help make dinner since I put such an imposition on you." He smiled, his eye making him look slightly eerie, though he didn't mind it. It was simply his face, he had no malice to put behind it.

He glanced at the hand again, it was almost red and looked painful. It wasn't the worst wound he saw, but it still made him feel uneasy. " You should wrap that up." He put the food on a dish that was on the counter. Barely a head taller than the table, he had slight difficulty, but working with heavy loads made him more skillful with this sort of thing. His white roots showing in the electric light, he hoped that Chima's hand hurt enough for her to think it was just a trick of the light.
