History: Tobi was born into a happy, loving family. However, this all changed when his sister, Amaya, was born. His mother died giving birth to her, and his father blamed not only his newborn daughter, but his two year old son, as well. He changed into a completely different man than the father Tobi had known before his mother's death. He became violent, bitter, and often came home drunk. He abused his children not just mentally, but physically as well. Because of all the abuse, the children grew close, believing that all they had was each other. Over time, Tobi became very protective over his younger sister, which only made his father angrier.

One night, when they were 12 and 14, Tobi and Amaya's father came home drunk, and angrier than the children had ever seen him. Of course, the first thing he did upon arriving in his home was call his children to him. Afraid that they were in for a brutal beating, Tobi ordered Amaya to hide in the closet while he went to their father. Seeing that his son was alone, Ray was furious. He demanded that the boy bring his sister out as well, but Tobi refused. This only made his father angrier. He then proceeded to mercilessly beat his oldest child, still demanding to see the boy's sister. Time and time again, Tobi refused until Amaya, unable to stand hearing her brother in so much pain, came out herself. To punish Tobi for disobeying him, Ray forced his son to watch as he killed his younger sister by repeatedly stabbing at her until she eventually bled to death.

In the weeks that followed, Tobi began developing his attitude and trying, in any way possible, to provoke and anger his father. This caused him to be beaten oftener than he normally would have, but by this point, Tobi didn't care. One night, just after his father went to bed, Tobi wandered into the kitchen where he discovered that his father had left a butcher's knife on the table. Amazed, Tobi examined it. It was then that he had an idea. Walking quickly to his father's bedroom, still cradling the knife, Tobi devised a plan. He held the knife behind his back and woke his father. Still half asleep, Ray stood up and Tobi began stabbing the man. Because it was so sudden and unexpected, Ray didn't put up much of a fight. Tobi killed his father in the same way the man had killed his sister, enjoying ever second. Afterwords, Tobi did not feel guilty, only afraid of being caught, and so he fled.

Not long afterwords, when he was 15, Tobi discovered alchemy. He quickly became obsessed and studied deeply into the subject. He learned of famous alchemists, and types of alchemy. After experimenting with different types of alchemy, Tobi learned that his strong points were ice alchemy and water alchemy. He did a deeper study and developed, over time his own techniques. Now, at the age of 17, he hopes to put his skills to use and become a State Alchemist.

Approved. This is a really good character, and it's good to have a descendant of Roy Mustang on the site, just like there is my character, a descendant of Alphonse Elric, Inari's character, presumably a descendant of Ling Yao and so on ^.^
Well, once Kenya approves of this, then you'll get to start setting up your character's being in the military ETC. It would be funny for an Elric to be his superior and still 14 (nearly 15) (he's a brigadier general), unless you do both registration templates and then you can choose your own rank. ^.^
