Looking for the library

Revel was in central today. She had somehow wandered her way here. Looking around, she became quite confused. Instead of her usual outfit, she was wearing a black plaided skirt with a long-sleeved turtleneck. She had heard hommunculus weren't to well looked upon, so she was trying to keep her appearance down.

"Now where's that libarary?" She whined to herself and pulled out a map. She had no idea how to read it and little did she know it was upside down anyways.

Tobi wandered aimlessly around. He wore his 'street clothes,' a brown t-shirt and loose fitting blue jeans. It was his day off from work. Normally, he would be happy, but he was pretty bored. Al wasn't even around for him to make fun of! He sighed and kicked his foot. He glanced up when he thought he heard a girl talking to him. There was a girl there, alright. "What did you say, Miss?" He asked, blinking.

Revel stared at the map and held it up to the sun, her tongue pressed hard to her top lip, "Hmm Im trying to find the library.. they said follow this map.." She twisted her arms and tilted her head, "But I think somebody left a secret code or something because I should be there by now!"

Tobi chuckled. "But you are," He said, pointing to a rather large building next to them. "I was just heading there myself, actually. Could I join you?"

Revel blinked and looked at the huge building "That's a library? It looks like a church!" She gasped, her red eyes blinking a couple times confused beneath her shades. She had been told to wear them by Greed. Something about Amestrians still not taking well to Ishvallans.

She smiled at the man and folded the map, "Alrighty then! Of course you can join!"

Tobi chuckled. "Yeah, it's huge. I made that mistake my first time here a few years ago." He walked up to the steps and motioned for her to join him.

Revel smiled and shved the folded map in her purse and caught up. "Oh? I thought it was a church. I've passed it at least ten times!"

Tobi shook his head. "Nope, it's a library alright. I don't usually go to this one, though. It's a public library, so they don't have as good a selection."

Revel looked crestfallen. "Not a good selection? Aww man." She sighed and chewed on a nail thoughtfully. "Does that mean they only have a few books?"

"No, it just means they don't have as many as the library I usually go to. I could get you into that one if you want."

Revel smiled brightly, "You'd do that for me?"

Tobi smiled. "If you want me to. It's not far from here, and it's much more recognizable."

Revel nodded, "Yes. Thank you very much!"

Tobi started walking. He took a few steps and motioned for her to follow. It wasn't long before they stood in front of a large official looking building with the Amestrian flag flying in front. Guards surrounded it, all loaded with guns. Tobi walked up to the front door and showed the guard his pocket watch. "Oh, and she's with me," He said when he saw the guard eying the girl.

Revel sat stood next to him. She smiled cutely at the guard.

The guard nodded and let them in. Tobi smiled as he opened the door to reveal tons of tall bookshelves overflowing with books. He turned and grinned at the girl. "So, what do you think?"

Revel looked around, amazed "Wow!!!! This is great!" she hustled ahead, spinning around

He chuckled. "Glad you like it Miss..." It was then that he realized he had no idea what her name actually was. He smiled sheepishly and rubbed his head.

Revel twirled once more and looked at Tobi, "Hmm what's wrong?"

"I, uh, don't know your name."

Revel giggled and smiled, holding out her hand, "My bad! My name is Revel Shade. Pleasure to meet you officer!" Her tan body blended in slightly with the bookshelves

Tobi smiled. "Tobi Mustang," He said, ""Nice to meet you, Miss Shade."

Revel smiled brightly, "You can call me Rev or Vel.. not Miss Shade.. that sounds weird."

Tobi smiled and nodded. "Okay, Rev," He said, choosing the first suggestion.

Revel smiles and took his hand, "Well comeone Bi!" She had a habit of getting nicknames wihin the first five minutes of meeting someone. She began looking around. "Are there any books on gems and minerals?"
