lori grined as she walked though the candy store, already holding about 3 boxes of pocky

Benjamin was tensely looking at the wide variety of gum that the huge candy store had to offer. He was trying to quit smoking, and heard that gum was a nice alternative.

"Peppermint...Wintergreen... --Pina Colada? ...Why?"

He shook his head and grabbed about 4 packs of wintergreen gum and started walking back down the isle to the cashier. He ruffled his hair and straightened his tie on the was to the young lady. He felt odd and out of place at a candy store. There was even another young girl looking at candy, she appeared to be 15-16. That just made him feel more embarrassed.

Lori grined as she grabed a few chocolate bars and ran up behind a man, and waited for her turn to check out

Benjamin placed the gum onto the counter and the lady scanned it. She put it in a huge plastic bag then handed it to him.

'Why would someone put a couple of small things into a bag? Why couldn't they just carry them?'

He gazed at the bag.

'The world doesn't make scense anymore.'

He turned around and bumbed into the girl he had saw earlyer, practically making her fall. In his mind, at least.

lori stumbed back little but still stood, she looked up at the guy and rubbed the back of her head "sorry, i just have been standing to close" she said as she picked up the candy she was holding

"Sorry, Ma'am. That was my fault, not yours."

Ben extended his arm out to the girl in order to help her up. He felt bad for running her over.

lori smiled and took his hand "thanks" she said getting up
