Ilona walked through the corridors with an escort that would take her to her son, Matthias. She coul not contain her excitement and anxiousness. He is okay? Will he remember me? It's been months since I seen him...
To calm herself, Ilona took deep breathes. She was lead into a reception room and the escort turn to her."Your son shall be brought to you shortly my lady.."
Ilona a simply nodded as the escort bowed out and walked away. Now all she has to do is wait...

Takegami was in his room, playing with Matthias, who was now ten months old. He tickled the baby's ose, and he giggled in return. He turned around to see an escort, and nodded slightly, knowing what it meant. He picked up Matthias, and carried the child through the double doors. Takegami walked down the hallways, and fially arrived before Ilona. He had a totally diffrent appearance then he last saw the woman. His black hair went down to his shoulders, his eyes were discolored, one being a white color, the other crimson red. He wore akward clothing, that was all black and made of leather and seemed to have many straps on it. The left side of his cheek was covered in a faded black color, which came from ink as he had been doing... akward things since his supposed 'death'.

"I suppose you've come for Matthias? Well, i didn't die, so he's staying with me... However, i will allow you to see him, for today..."

Ilona wasn't shocked by his overall appearance and felt herself slow fester inside. She felt that how he looks now is her fault and her fault alone. I wasn't strong enough..Ilona removed her sunglasses, revealing her steel blue eyes that has not lost their piercing coldness.
"For today? What do you mean "for today"?"She said with a silent demanding. Ilona smiled at her son who smiled back, his arms reaching out for her..

Takegami simply sighed, knowing the woman would want Matthias back... but Matthias was his son, and although he seemed to lose all feeling for everyone else, he still loved his son. He kissed Matthias on the head, and the baby hugged his neck, kissing his cheek, copying his father and laughing. Takegami laughed slightly, a warm smile on his face as he looked at the child, but it returned to it's cold steel when he looked back at the woman. He was about to speak, when he heard something... special...

"Daddy..."

Matthias had spoken, his first words being 'Daddy...' Takegami chuckled slightly, but simply tickled the baby's stomach, trying to make his smile disappear when he looked back at Ilona.

"You have Kamijo, and i have Matthias... he's my son too, and i won't lose them both..."

"You cannot keep him forever Takegami, he's my son also. Sooner or later you have to give him back."She said with a stern voice. Ilona gave a sad smile when Matthias said his first words and thought that maybe it is for the best but still...She pushed aside a stray bit of hair from her face, her wedding ring no longer there.

Takegami pulled his hand up, removing his long hair from out front of his eyes, revealing two wedding rings. The one that Ilona gave to him... and the one from... He sighed slightly, and chuckled, not believing she actually said that.

"Why... isn't that what you planned to do with Kamijo and Matthias not to long ago? Be happy your even getting to see him... he's learned that your not his mommy... just his grandma. Hahahaha!! He has a mother, someone who i can actually trust..."

"So you plan to replace me do you?"She said with a silent anger. Being replaced as a mother struck Ilona's heart and seems like there was no ending to the pain that this man as caused her so far. She then attempted to turn around, throwing away the remenants of her old self away.
"Do what you wish, I have no strength to fight you any longer. But mark my words, he'll wonder who his real mother is.."

Takegami's eyes slendered, and he simply smirked and made a hidden chuckle that sounded like a 'hmph'. He then sighed and looked back up at the woman.

"His real mother died when i was betrayed the day i went shopping with her... She was the one i fell in love with... not a traitor."

"At least sign the divorce papers I've sent you.."She said, walking away. Ilona put her sunglasses back on, hiding her tears. When Kamijo is old enough to understand, I will tell him that his father and brother is...Ilona reached outside, closing the door behind her. She took a deep breath, trying to calm down but couldn't, instead she fell on her knees crying silently..
"I'm so sorry.."

Takegami watched Ilona walk out of the palace, a cold smile on his face. However, this wasn't what he wanted... He did't want to smile, he didn't want to feel happy, but with Reita and Daishi now fully controlling his mind, he had no choice but to feel such a way. He simply tickled Matthias once more and returned to their room to finish playing with the child, the doors shutting behind them slowly by themselves.

Ilona took a train back to central where Kami was being looked after by a babysitter. She decided to throw away all momento's of her past love away, where she can slowly forget about him. The first time she laid eyes on him, it just snapped. But deep down, Ilona had a gut feeling that this would not last...Nothing lasts forever.
