Shooting Range

Kiri blinked, "Wha?" She blushed deeper, embarressed further upon being stupid, "Uh... I-I mean Yeah the weather is always great because it's weather you know and weather is awesome.. because it.. it's the weather!" She rambled, just preventing the awkward silence from arising.

Salus's eyes widen, in amusement he was willing to continue the obscure conversation

I know right. Do you know the different between climate and weather? I have no idea myself

Kiri scratched her chin in thought, "Uhmm well climate is more of a specific place's weather?" She laughed "You know what I have no idea!" She laughed and rubbed the back of her head.

Salus smiled

Well I think we need to go find an encyclepedia or something.

He laughed at just how stupid the conversation really was turning out to be. It was no one's fault though, he was still having a good time.

Kiri laughed and joked, "Yah hold on I'll grab the one from my purse!" She playfully punch-tapped his shoulder and shook her head, "Anyways.. other than the weather. I never asked about what's new with life since our exciting day at the cafeteria."

Salus tilted his head trying to reacll what he had been doing, and what was knew in it.

Well, not much really,met some superiors. Quite a strange bunch of people we have in command here. Then I was assigned that that thing I said earlier. Other than that just been doing paperwork, ro at least avoiding paperwork.

Kiri nodded, "I wonder how many trees they down for all those papers.. the poor trees." She sighed and chewed on her lip. "Oh do you like animals?" She asked curiously.

Salus nodded in response to her question.

I do like animals, just normal animals, not like a flying pig or anything. I like dogs and cats mainly. What about you?

Kiri smiled brightly, her face almost lighting t up it seemed, "I love animals! I have two cats and a dog at home." She blushed and looked away "I sound like a kid, don't I?"

Salus backed off a little from the excitement of Kiri. He smiled gingerly

You.. a kid...psh.

Salus managed to mutter out.

Kiri smiled softly a gentle one for once, "Thanks." She paused and sighed, "You know, you're one of the few friends I have here.. most people seem to avoid me." She frowned, for once her whole exterior calm.

Salus blushed a little from the sweet comment of Kiri's

The same goes for you, I think people are way to serious here. But you and I we are kindred spirits.

Salus said.

Kiri smiled and laughed, "Go saying nice things like that and the girls'll swoon over you." She teased and sighed. "But I guess it could be true.."

Salus smiled back.

Girls swoon over me? Maybe they already do.

Salus flipped his hair in an egotist way. He wasn't serious, but it did have a hint of arrogance in it.

Kiri snickered and rolled her eyes, "Yeah.. right and the boys are all just kissing the floor I walk on." She was of course teasing, her own little way of affection as she stuck out her tongue at him childishly.

Salus laughed and then tumbled to the floor, kissing it.

Sorry got a little too excited. It happens from time to time.

Salus stood up and dusted himself off.

Kiri laughed, her face illuminating with amusement, "I'll keep that in mind." It was always so enjoyable, these odd conversations. Salus was the first man to ever actually have a normal conversation with her.

Salus laughed.

So what about that guy you were eating lunch with?Salus said casually, trying not to seem stalkerish.

Kiri blinked, "Huh? Oh Mr. Ito? We were talking in the hallway and he asked me to lunch. It was a luncheon, nothing personal." Kiri wasn't in a romantic relationship with anyone. She probably would never have one, shrugging.

Salus smiled again, it seems he had been smiling the whole time.

Mr. Ito, well I hope he wasn't as much fun as I was at lunch.

Salus said

Kiri laughed and fake ndged Salus, "Aww someone jealous?" She shook her head, "I kid. It was a nice lunch, but Mr. Ito.. seems.. kind of off." she placed a finger to her lip

Salus's eyes widened.

Me jealous? What do I have to be jealous about?

Salus was clearly trying to play off his embarassment

A little off, huh, well that is not unusual, at least around her.

Kiri smiled "I told you I kid!" She laughed, "And yeah... he seems kind of dark and mysterious. It's weird I admit." She sighed. "Besides I don't think dating is for everyone."

Well maybe you just haven't dated the right person.

Salus raised an eyebrow and smiled.

Dark and mysterious, girls usually go mad for that type of guy. I am not like that I am just a guy who wants to have fun and enjoy life.

Kiri laughed and smiled, "Dark and mysterious can be sad and gloomy. But a for dating wise.." she tapped her chin, "I actually don't think I've actually ever dated anyone." She laughed softly, "Black Cat is my soul mate and with that I suppose I'll live."
