The first meeting (Revel and Yuan)

Revel winced, feeling tears in her eyes, "It hurts... I'm always attracted to.. shiny things.. expensive things.. I overreact.. I can't control myself half of the time.. It's as if.. as if I can't think straight.."

"that's why you're extravagance. It means a wnat for the very best." Yuan said softly.

Revel whined and held her sides some, sobbing softly.

"Revel. Revs, calm down." he said in what he hoped was soothing tone and slowly hugged her, trying to clam her down.

Revel nuzzled her face into his shoulder, turning and clinging to hi as she steadied her nreathing. "I-I'm sorry.."

"For?" he asked softly, tightening his grip.

Revel shook her head, still slightly clinging to Yuan "For losing.. losing control on my emotions.. it's just it keeps replaying.. papa's death..."

"Shuu." he said softly, stroking her hair with one hand.

Revel wiped her eyes with one hand and winced, "Tears taste bitter.."

"That reminds me of a story I was told when I was little. That tears are bitter because they hold your sadness..." he trailed off.

Revel nodded and rested her forehead on his cheek, "Thank you for being here for me..." She smiled reassuringly.

"If I wasn't here for you, who would be?" he questioned softly.

Revel smiled weakly, "Noone."

"Exactly." he nodded sharply.

Revel smiled softly at Yuan, "Thank you."

"No problem." Yuan said with a tiny smile.

Revel rested her head on his chin, allowing her body to relax.

"You always seem so jumpy." he said softly, trying not to move his jaw to much.

Revel laughed lightly, "Well in the amount of time I've been here, I've been jumped, stabbed and had stuff thrown at me.."

"So? Happens to me to and I live here." he shruged.

Revel winced and shook her head, "I'm used to rejection.. but... Being attacked is completely different. The people of my home hated me.. but they never resorted to violence.."

"I'm plain old hated. People know what i am and they resent it. the only accepted my greatgrandfather ebcause he was diffrent soul than Greed, two entitys in one body." he sighed.

Revel looked sad, "People can be awful... It's so.. saddening.." Her face had a strange expression as she thought.

"It's a sad fact, but very true." he nodded slowly.

Revel smiled and held up her pinky finger, "But we'll have each other."
