Going Back Already? (Benjamin Havoc/Open)

"Sisshy?" Whitney Ulrica Ash, three years of age, tugged on her older sister's jacket that was tied around her waist.
Katie Lynn, Whitney's older sister, turned around to face her. "Pweash dun' go..." Whitney begged, her eyes starting to water.
"You jush got heruh..."
Katie smiled sweetly at her sister and patted her head. "I promise I'll be back soon again. I...just have to go back to work."

Two hands reached out and took a hold of Whitney. Those hands were their mother. "Have a safe trip, honey. We'll really miss you." Milicent said.
"I know, but blame Central. It's not my fault I have to leave so early." Katie sighed, finished putting on her shoes and standing up. She grabbed her bag and pulled it over her head and rested the strap on her shoulder.
"Alex!" She called.
A blonde ferret scurried on the floor and jumped on her, climbing onto her shoulders.
"Bye, guys! Love you!" Katie shouted as she ran outside to her escort back to Central.

Benjamin was sitting sideways in the drivers seat slouching out the toor, cigarette in hand. He was ordered by a Colonel to come pick 'The Limestone Alchemist' up from her familly's house and safely escort her back to Central. He felt a bit sorry for the girl; she had to leave her Mum and her sniffling sister alredy and it had barely been 2 days. He shrugged it off, thinking that she would see them again sooner or later.

As he saw her running out the door, Ben stood up and flicked his cigarette to the ground and opened the door behind the driver's for the young girl. She seemed a little too young to be in the Military, but he supposed it was good for her to get an early start.

Katie sighed, getting in the car and shutting the door by herself. She wished she hadn't been called back to Central for another State mission. She was usually upset by this, but a little more pissed than anything because she had just gotten home and now she had to leave her family.

Noticing someone getting back in the car, she forgot that someone was driving her back. Even though she could get on the train and purchase a ticket by herself.
"Um, hi...I don't think we've met. I'm Katie." She held out her hand for him to shake. "Although I'm sure you already know me as the Limestone Alchemist." She added.

Benjamin reached behind the drivers seat and took her hand, shaking it firmly. He did, in fact, know who she was by her State Title.

"Pleasure to meet you, Miss. Katie. I'm Havoc and today I will be you're shofer."

He chuckled, then turned back around in his seat and started the engine. He might aswell have fun with the 3 hour drive to Central. The girl seemed like she might enjoy a semi-fun drive home.

"Ah, no need to add the 'miss', just call me Katie." Katie paused for a minute.
"Havoc, huh? I think I've seen you at HQ before. Hmm...Benjamin Havoc, right?" She tried to recall everyone she's met at Central HQ. Takegami, Colonel Alexander Elric...and now Benjamin. She's meeting more and more people each day.

Alex was curled up asleep at Katie's feet at the bottom of the car. He looked really comfortable. She bent down quickly to give him a pet.
She sat back up, staring at her little snuggled up animal.
