Moth to a flame

Yuan Yao, better known as Greed, had yet again made his way to Dublith. He always felt drawn there, and the place comforted him and helped him clear his mind. And currently his mind was reeling. he had so much to deal with. he was emperor of a nation, he was a member of traitorz and a secret force created by the fuhrer, and yet he had gone back on both of them and joined Takegami just because of the good deal that was made to him. Not to mention he had to put up with xan more and he hadn't seen revel in forever. he sighed. "Makes me almost wish i could disappear." he whispered, continuing his duck walk down a minor street.

Revel was wondering, again. It was usual for her. She had a tendencey to just come and go as she pleased and it was often times going moreso. After all, being locked up in Ishval for years had left her ignorant of the world around her and she had so many new things to see. But at this moment, she was upset. The clerk was staring at her with a look of dismay, "What do you mean you don't have it?!" She huffed in her adorable abgry tone

The man stuttered and waved his hands, "I-I'm sorry ma'am but we don't serve 33-scoop icecream cones here.." His face was red and flushed nervous at the same time.

Revel pouted, her shades hiding her disappointment, "Awww.. your shop sucks!" she whined and stormed off, looking around. Where was this? Dunle... something with a D no doubt...

Yuan continued walking, entering the shop section of the city. Jun was perched on his shoulder, ever faithful to her master and friend. "What the hell am I gonna do?" Yuan moaned loudly, tilting his head back and frowning considerably.

That was when Ama broke free from his leash. Revel flailed, "No! Bad dog! Ama get back here!" She shouted as the dog charged at Yuan. Her tongue lolling, after all dog's never forget a face. Revel dodged and ducked through the crowd. When did so many people get down here. "You silly mutt, get back here!"

yuan glanced at the barking dog. "Well look who it is." he commented, recognizing the black dog easily. Jun made a sort of hissing sound, backing up on Yuan's shoulder.

The dog panted, jumping up on Yuan's leg, then running around him and jumping up on him again, ignoring the rat's obvious displeasure. Revel was now walking and panting for breath as she huffed and sat on her butt on the cold ground, "S....rrry... dog... fastt..." Her words slurred lightly as she attempted to catch her breath.

"Oof." yuan groaned as the dog knocked him over the second time it jumped up. Jun let out a kind of screech and dove into Yuan's pocket, spueaking profound curses.

Revel shouted, "Bad Ama! No jumping!" She tsked firmly and grabbed the dog's leash, pulling her back, then held out her hand as the dog whimpered, then looked around hyperly, "I'm really sorry sir." She couldn't recognize anyone with her dark shades on.

Yuan groaned and looked, up recognizing the voice. "What's with the formality, revs?" he asked with a grin, sitting up, leaning forward onto his toes and then jumping into a standing position, his balance perfect.

Revel blinked, registering slowly, then sliding off her shades, "Ah! Yuan! How have you been?!" She giggled and wrapped him in a tight hug, her face illuminating, "Sorry I didn't recognize you with these things." She shook the shades and sighed, "But they're the best on hiding my eye color~!"

Yuan laughed and returne dthe hug. "Understandable." he grinned slightly. "But couldn't you just buy a pair of colored contacts?"

Revel blinked and her jaw dropped, "They have those?!" She was suddenly aware of how little she knew again.

"Yup. I've never used them. Brown eyes don't really stand out." he shrugged. "So how have you been?"

Revel sighed "Lonely! There's so much to see, but so few people to see it with!" She nuzzled his shoulder, "I missed you bunches, Greedykins."

"Hey, missed you two Revs." he kept his arms loose around her. "And your right, there is a lot to do."

Revel giggled and looked up, smiling, "So what have you been up too, Yuan? Behaving yourself I hope?" she teased, sticking out her tongue as Ama let out a yawn and laid down.

"Of course, of course. I wouldn't do anything stupid. Though I am two lives short... am now a level three humunculus and ruler of Xing." he said nonchalantly, shrugging.

Revel laughed and smiled, "Congradulations! I'm only a level two and I've been so busy looking around the world. And ruler of Xing! That's an amazing accomplishment!" Revel smiled brightly andkissed his cheek softly. "Hope you haven't forgotten about me though.."

"Wouldn't dream of it." he grinned stupidly,returning the kiss with one to her forehead, earning stares and several aws from passerby.

Revel blushed faintly and giggled, "Glad to hear it~!" She nuzzled his shoulder softly. "So how's the emperor doing?"

"Eh, okay. the emperor's subjects are worried about him and trying to make him eat. they think he's to much of a lightweight." Greed laughed. "Why are you here anyway?"

Revel tapped her chin, "Wandering around as usual. They don't sell 33-scoop icecream cones here." she whined and laughed, "I'm not exactly sure how I got here." Ama yawned and let out a soft bark.
"AM NOT LOST!" Revel huffed angrily at the dog who grinned and laid her head down.

"That should be a crime." Yuan shook his head,s till grinning. "I'm staying here for awhile, in a hotel on the south side." he stated. "If you want you can always crash with me." he shrugged.

Revel smiled and giggled, "You'd let me? Thank you, I need somewhere to stay.. Would I be a bother?"

"Naw. It's fine. It's not like I need the space and I'm emperor. i have plenty money." he laughed. "Shall we go?" he asked, putting an arm around Revel's shoulders.
