The Search Begins Briefing

The wind whipped through the desolate white terrain. Snow blasted in the wind, for travelers there is no reprieve. This area is devoid of trees to block the ever chilling maelstrom. A man in a thick black cloak desperately makes his way through the storm. His cloak is covered in snow; his hood offers little sanctuary from the biting gales. In the distant horizon he spies a small settlement.
This settlement is known as Dragon Fang Village. It is almost abandoned; there is no one in site. The makeshift shelters are barely able to stand up to the wind. The man approaches the village hoping they will be some safety from the storm, but sadly as deadly as the storm is, the village is even worse.

The waling sounds of the storm echo throughout the empty town. The town resembles a colonial village, the buildings look almost ancient. Moans and shrieks can be heard coming from the darkened alleys. The man braces himself from the cold, shivering his eyes dart back in forth. He is visibly scared, shaking not only from the cold, but also from the horrible noise appearing around him. The scared man pulls a pistol from a holster, the gun shakes with the man’s hands.
As he gingerly steps towards the center of town, the noises become louder and more intense. He enters the town square turning he sees the statue of a large two headed dragon posed to strike. The image spokes the man he lets out a yell. The man like so many others have come to Dragon Fang for one reason, the Magirawashii. The ancient artifact said to make even the most third rate alchemist a force more powerful than any other. This tome is said to lie within the darkened, depths of the treacherous Dragon Fang Caverns.

The man shutters, the sun has begun to set. The man scrambles to find shelter from the storm, and a place to fortify for protection. The man turns to find shelter, all of a sudden three shots ring out. The man falls to the ground dead. This man was Grand Major Trium of the Drachmaen army. Drachma is desperate to lay claim to the Magirawashii, and this man will surely not be the last they send...

The tome maybe the reason why people come to Dragon Fang, but death is what keeps them there to languish in the village.

The Drachmaen government has petitioned the Military of Amerstris to help in their investigation. The military has selected a group of dedicated individual to look into the crime. They have also sent a couple others with a different mission.

Certainly, others have flocked towards Dragon Fang for the glory of possessing the Magirawashii. The missions could reveal some interesting secrets about those who are trying to manipulate the military, and for others could spell certain doom.

OK all here we go: The event begins. Here is a breakdown of the groups. There will be about six threads labelled for the events. It is probaly best that two or three people rp in them to avoid a massive posting wait.
