Relocation.. means work...

Tobi chuckled and shrugged. "What can I say? It's true."

Kiri smiled and stood walking up to Tobi and pacing around him, deciding to play with him again. That was one of Kiri's favourite hobbies. Pacing around Tobi she sighed and tsked "Not sure what they see in you... Pretty average.... maybe even below average..."

"Heey!" Tobi said, sounding upset, "I'd say I'm above average!"

Kiri tsked and shook her head with mock doubt, "I dunno.. seriously.. those pants.. that hair.. the attitude." She sighed and shook her head, wondering what Tobi would say to that.

Tobi gasped. "These are military issued pants! And my hair is excellent!"

Kiri shook her head, "It's all just a shame, Colonel." She grinned. It was so much fun!

Tobi wrinkled his forehead. "Hey, stop that!"

Kiri pouted and crossed her arms, "Aww but it's so fun to torment you!"

"Oh," Tobi said sarcastically, "Then by all means go ahead! They're just feelings! They'll heal!" He held back a smile, trying to look serious for once.

Kiri blinked and frowned "Awwww.. you'll live." She playfully pnched his shoulder.. with her bad hand. "Ouch!" She yelped. "Not my most... prominent idea.."

Tobi sighed and patted her shoulder. "Careful, Major. Don't want to hurt yourself any more than you already have."

Kiri grinned, "What can I say, I have a mad shot, but when it comes to coordination, I'm somehow lacking."

Tobi chuckled. "I'll say."

Kiri huffed and shoved him gently, "You aren't supposed to agree! What kind of man agrees to a woman's downfault's?!"

Tobi shrugged. "I don't know. I don't think it's that much of a downfault, anyways."

Kiri smiled softly, "Aww that's sweet of you."

Tobi shrugged. "Sure, I guess."

Kiri sighed and looked around. "Well I'll go back to packing... I guess." She grumbled he was very.. lethargic.. that was the word.. right?

Tobi grinned. "I'll help you. That's what I'm supposed to be doing down here anyways."

Kiri was silent, putting her stuff in the boxes quietly. She didn't know what to say at the moment.

Tobi helped her. "So...if you're afraid of alchemy, what made you want to become a State Alchemist?"

Kiri sighed, "I didn't get a choice.. the one time I did to defend myself... and they saw me and forced me into it." She sat down in a chair and rubbed her temples.

"Oh," Tobi said. He put a hand on her shoulder. It didn't seem so awkward anymore. "If it makes a difference, I think it's really brave of you. I wish I'd known alchemy when I was a kid to help protect myself. Coulda saved me a lot of trouble, amongst other things."

Kiri shrugged her shoulders and sighed "If only it were that simple.. it terrifies me when I use it so I usually screw it up.."

"You must be good, to be State," He reminded her.
