Damien slowly stuts down the street

Revel sighed,when was the last time she visited central? she couldn't remember. Ama trotted at her side, letting out occassional whimpers. Ever since that night with Take.. Ama had sensed something wrong about Revel. The dog was worried, and it showed as she constantly tried to get affection, almost like a child needing comfort. Revel brushed her hand over the dog's head. She couldn't understand why the pup was worried... she was fine.... wasn't she?

Damien spots Revel and Ama. Damien walked over out of boredom. " Hi "

Revel blinked, her red eyes seeming to glow behind her eyes. Ama, sensing her master's discontent growled at Damien. "Excuse me, who are you?" Revel asked in a cold and impatient tone. What was wrong with her? WUsuall when people said hi that she didn't really know, she was happy.. but this man was different.

" Im Damien and yourself? " Damien asked

Revel glanced fingered her braid thoughtfully. "I'm Revel, nice to meet you Damien." Okay that was a little better. Ama growled some more at the boy, her fur standing on edge.

" You to , whats wrong with your dog? " Damien bent down to Ama

Ama snarled at him until Revel rested her hand on Ama's head, "Don't worry, she's just not friendly to strangers and is highly protective of me."

" Oh I see " Damien stands back up " So hows it goingt Revel? "

Revel scratched her dog between her ears. She panted happily and rubbed her head into Revel's hand ".. not really much.. and you?"

" Yeah about the same. " Damien looked down at Ama and smiled slightly

Xan was walking around town when he saw two individuals that he hadn't seen for a long time, each for separate reasons.

He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Damien and Revel. Then he thought to himself, now what are these two doing here, in central? But then again what was he doing in Central?

Xan walked towards the two homunculi.

Hello, Revel and Damien. How long has it been since we last met?

The dog looked up with a confused look, but with the assurance of calm emmanating from her master, Ama looked particularly uninterested, her tail occassionally swaying back and forth. Revel sighed, "My closest friend is away on vacation... I never realized how lost I feel without him.."

Damien shoots around " ... "

Revel stared, confused at the man, then turned to Xan, her energy, yet again drained, "Oh.. Xan it's you." Ama trotted over to him and sniffed his feet and growled. "Ama! Bad dog, why are you growling at Xan?" The black yearling whimpered and howled at Revel.

Xan smiled when Damien spinned around. He guessed that the homunculus remembered him from before......

Hey Damien, long time no see huh? I don't recall us meeting since you took my arm. But that might just be my bad memories. How have you been?

Xan yawned, then whistled.

Hey Revel, you seem different somehow. What's up?

" Right , fine " Damien glared at his arm

Revel looked at Xan as the dog nipped at his knee. Revel thwumped the pup's head rather hard, but not enough to hurt her. "Different? How so?"

Xan turned his attention to Revel.

You don't seem to be as...bubbly as usual. Normally you would be acting completely wild. Again, is something wrong?

Revel rested a hand on the gem connecting both sides of her jacket. "My last few weeks have been.. really rough..." she admitted. Head to toe she was covered in fabric, not an inch of her skin showing until it reached her neck. Her eyes winced slight as the pain in her head throbbed again.

Xan looked at Revel very closely, then sighed. Everyone seemed to have changed somehow, including him. How coincedental, or maybe not.

Xan leaned against a nearby building to wait for Revel to say something, and hopefully tell him what was bothering her.

Revel clenched the gem and sobbed softly as she crumpled to her knees. "Xan.. I can't stop him.. I can't stop myself... everytime I think it's like he's placed something in my head to mess with my thoughts." Her eyes closed as the tears dripped from her cheeks. This was her last chance at reaching out for help. She could feel her soul striving to run from the darkness. Ama looked up at the sky and let out a long

Xan fell to his knees beside Revel, and lifted up her chin so he could look her in the eyes. He wasn't quite sure what was happening here, so he would need information before he could help her in any actual capacity.

Revel, who has done this to you? No wait, let me guess. It was Takegami Teijirou wasn't it? What did he do to you?

Revel stared at him, tears flowing from her eyes, "I can't say.... anything... I-I'm trapped inside my own mind.." The tears still dripped heavily onto her lap. Her body shivered. Her hands held the sides of her head as her voice shook with each word.

Xan thought to himself for a moment. Issues of the mind were not his area of expertise. Well, not this kind of issue anyway.
