Visiting home

Xan decided to tease Revel some more. Reaching over again, he pulled her closer to himself into a hug. Revel, I want to thank you again for saving Salus' life. If there is anything that you need, please don't hesitate to ask.

Xan wondered what Revel's reaction would be to the sudden closeness. Then he realized something. His own heart suddenly began to beat quite a bit faster than usual...

Revel let out a soft and cute squeak, "No really it was nothing I-I couldn't let him die.." Her heart thudded hard against her chest as she hesitatly hugged back. How strange someone actually hugging her.. not the other way around. Her face had to be darker than her eyes..

Xan continued his hug, this time turning to look at Revel. Well, either way it means a lot to me. It also means a lot that you would join me in my organization.

Xan's heart began to beat a little faster. He smiled to himself. Was he blushing a little? He wondered if Revel would notice the difference.

Revel smiled and laughed nervously, "Really d-don't worry about it." Did her voice cack? She suddenly felt insecure. And her vision seemed screwy. What was going on? Was there some sort of gas or was it an adrenaline rush.. that's what it seemed like.

Xan thought to himself that Revel looked really cute when she was embarrassed. Naturally that led to his heart going a bit faster, and some of his body getting a sudden temperature change. He just sat there, holding Revel close to himself, able to feel his heartbeat and her own, which was going only a little faster than his own. And he was enjoying himself immensely.

Revel was still blushing, her whole body tempature above normal. She rested her chin hesitantly on his shoulde, afraid she might pass out from the shock of her heart's hammering, quick pace.

Xan relaxed when Revel put her head on his shoulder. Taking a deep breath, he reached with his hand over to where Revel's hand was, and lightly took hold of it. He thought to himself that now it was Revel's turn.

Revel stiffened and slowly laced her fingers with his. She wasn't sure what to do. What was she even doing this close to a man? Her heart was still fluttering.

Xan's heart rate sped up to almost match Revel's. It was actually quite amazing to feel two hearts beating in almost absolute synchronization like this. He had never felt this way before, and he was enjoying the feeling. He wondered what Revel would do next, if not just sit here and enjoy the emotional tornado developing.

Revel hesitated and looked up, her moves slow and staggered as she kissed him quickly on the cheek, "Th-thank you for k-keeping me co-company..."

When Revel kissed him on the cheek, Xan's heart practically skipped a beat. He had to let himself breath for a few seconds before replying. It's no problem, Revel. I'm enjoying the decision to spend time with you.

He didn't think that he would be able to control his blushing for very much longer.

Revel giggled slightly and pressed a strand of hair behind her ear. She suddenly felt calm again. He was feeling as awkward as she was.. there was no need to worry. It was.. 'normal' Yuan had told her if more than one person has it it's normal.. otherwise to refer to it as unique..

Xan relaxed as Revel relaxed, and just let himself go with the flow as he sat there, holding Revel's hand. He could sit here like this for a long time, because he felt happy and relaxed with Revel.

Revel felt better as she let herself calm, her whole body seeming to return to normal. She couldn't really even tell her hand was still locked with his. She rested her other one on her lap and simply calmed down, enjoying the peacefulness.

Xan was enjoying the peacefulness as well. It was the first peaceful moment that he had experienced for a long time, being a leader of every known organization and the Amestris military. His breathing and heart rate had returned to normal and he was just looking outside, at the sky. Truly, this was a good day to be Xan.

Revel smiled at him softly and teased gently, "Aww who'd a think the leader could be so soft?" She stuck out her tongue playfully and giggled.

Xan looked at Revel with amusement in his eyes. Hey, no fair. I'm weak to the charms of beautiful women, what can I say? Actually, Xan wasn't weak at all, but Revel somehow managed to bring out his softest side. How ironic....

Revel blushed again and gave a sheepish smile, twirling her hair some with a finger, "Y-You flatter me.."

Xan radioed to his soldiers awaiting his return outside of the village, saying to go on without him. He would be here for a while.

Revel sat quietly, which was odd for her. She didn't know whaat to say or think.. or even do. It was so peaceful.

Yuan had been rideing all day through the desert. His cream colored horse had just begun to tire as he reached the Ishvallan town. Xingese like himself were usually more welcome than Amestrian's. He dismounted the horse with the fluid grace of someone who has been riding for awhile. There was a large bit of excitement as he handed a child a gold coin to fetch the nameless horse he had borrowed some water as he streched his legs.

Revel blinked from where she was and stood up, "Someone's here." Her eyes seemed distant and in thought. A way she felt around the others.

Yuan glanced around. The place seemed familiar. "Strange." he murmered as his horse gladly drank the water from the bucket the child had fetched. he absentmindedly stroked the horses soft coat as he tried to place how he knew this place.

Revel walked to her door and poked her head out, looking around. Who was here? How did they know she was here? Which of the sins was it? Her eyes peered carefully over the small village around her.

Jun, his rat, squeaked, upon catching a familiar scent. The little gray creature went scurrying from his shoulder and bounding along the path, weaving in between startled people. "Jun! Come back, now!" Greed shouted in Xingese, handing his horses reigns to a child and bolting after the rat, looking irritated, as Jun followed Revel's scent, fig ruing it would make Yuan happy to see her.
