Visiting home

Revel stood outside her house as she squated, seeing a familiar scurrying creature. "Jun.." She paused and stared down. "That means Yuan's nearby!" Her face lit up at the thought then she remembered Xan was still in her house. Well he said they were friends.. right?

"Jun." Yuan called, following the rat. He saw Revel first. "Hey Revel. Didn't expect you to be around here." he grinned, grabbing up his pet and letting her sit on his shoulder.

Revel smiled and laughed lightly, "Silly Yuan.. where'd you think I went? Of course I wanted to visit my homeland." She insecurely pushed a bang behind her ear and fidgeted.

"Just didn't figure you lived in this particular village." he laughed,s till grinning.

Revel giggled "Well there aren't many villages aound." She half skipped to him and leaned up on her feet, kissing him quickly on the cheek as she usually greeted him, "Though I'm glad to see you."

"Good to see you to." Greed couldn't wipe the smile off his face. Jun squeaked something. "Huh? Jun says you smell like other people." he raised his eyebrows.

Revel blinked and rubbed the back of her head, "Well yeah.. there was this man who nearly died from heatstroke.. I brought him to my abode and gave him something to eat and drink.. when he was going to leave, his leader-man came and stopped by." Revel frowned and crossed her arms, "There are some really strange people." She felt completely normal now.

Xan got up and stretched himself out. Walking over to Yuan Yao, he offered his hand to shake.

Greetings, it has been a long time, Yuan Yao. Tell me, do you remember me?

Then he looked at Revel with an amused look.

Ah, so now I am a strange person?

Greed raised his eyebrows. "I apoligize, but I don't remember you in the slightest. WE have met?" he questioned with suspicious eyes.

Revel paused and blinked, then looked from Xan to Yuan and back, "He.. he said you guys were really good friends." Revel admitted, suddenly feeling nervous.

"I don't remember meeting. Of course, I've met lots of people. But i doubt he met my original. That guy died when he was five." Yuan shook his head.

Revel blinked and scooted away from Xan, not liking how this was going. Did he lie to her? She felt suddenly uncomfortable and slightly betrayed. She quickly darted behind Yuan and clung to his arm like a scared child.

Yuan sighed and lay a lite hand on Revel's shoulder, wtaching Xan curiously. "So who are you?

Revel peaked out from Yuan's shoulder, her eyes showing her confusion.

Xan gave Yuan and Revel a look of pure amusement, as Revel had hidden behind Yuan as though Xan was suddenly found out to be a dangerous criminal or something. Holding his hands up as if to say he meant no harm, Xan began to speak, hoping that there was a way to avoid confrontation with these two homunculi.


Well, since you have no memory of us meeting, my name is Xan. I am descended from the Ishvalan people, I am a State Alchemist, the Scarred Alchemist, and I am also a member of various other...organizations. Pleased to meet you again.

Putting his hands down, Xan began to walk away from Yuan and Revel, as he did still have important business to attend to. He wondered if either of the two Homunculi would try to stop him from leaving, but he sure hoped not.

"Hmm, your name sounds familiar. Perhaps Alex mentioned it once or twice." Yuan looked thoughtful. "And I myself am I member of... a certain organization." he grinned a bit, the cool metal against his throat, hidden by his high collared shirt, a good reminder of what organization.

Revel looked confused, but clung to Yuan like a child. "Are... are you leaving so soon, Xanny?" She huffed, "You just met Greedykins.. you can't just leave. And without a good-bye! How rude!" Her face was flushed red faintly as small pearls of tears sat on the edges of her eyes.

Xan turned around and walked back, with a look of amused exasperation on his face. Don't worry Revel, we will all meet again, much sooner than you might think. But I suppose that you are right, I should at least say a proper goodbye.

Xan walked closer to Yuan and Revel. Nice seeing you again, Yuan. Perhaps next time, I will be able to stick around so that we can talk. I am sure that we have much to discuss, like the health of your father, for instance.

Facing Revel, he tried to hold back a laugh. Goodbye Revel, I hope to see you again, very soon.

Turning around, Xan began to walk again, in the direction of the next village over, which was his original home. He had left something there that he wanted to have around with him from now on...

"Wait, what?" Yuan stared. Father, huh? What the hell was going on.

Revel blinked. Yuan looked confused as well, but only because Yuan was. She smiled cutely and waved, leaning over Yuan's shoulders, on her tippy-yoes, a wide grin on her face, "Buh-bye Xanny~!"

Xan waved without turning around. See you soon Revel and Yuan! Oh, and if you see your father, give him my regards!

With that, Xan walked towards the east, heading to his old village.

"That was trange." Yuan stated. "I'm sorry Revel, but I have to leave. I'll see you soon." he hugged her and wlaked off to fetch his horse.

Revel huffed and blew a bang of hair out of her eyes. "Well that was even weirder." She sighed and crossed her arms thinking. Deciding that nothing made sense, she just walked in for bed.
